I am reading the NY Times bestselling book, "Atomic Habits," by James Clear. What I have gained so far is the emphasis on the power of small, consistent habit changes to create significant improvements in life over time. The idea is that sometimes it is not so much about setting goals but instead about what your “system” or process of habits is that moves you forward to where you want to go in your life. This book is such a complement to my 2025 focus to live “Intentionally”!
I am already such a “routine” person who thrives in a familiar flow to my day, such as working out early several times a week, eating clean and healthy, and taking time daily to reflect and think on top priorities and create a plan of action. I am intrigued by what new “habits” I can do to assist my goal of living my best life. I am also reviewing my other habits that I may want to change or limit, such as spending less time on social media.
If this book has also inspired you, what habits have you changed? How has this affected your life?
